Yang Tian

Yang is about to finish her Master studies at Freie Universität Berlin with a thesis applying machine learning tools on language data from the Chinese health sector. At the same time she is enrolled in the Graduate Certificate Program "Artificial Intelligence" at Stanford University.

During her internship as an AI engineer at Cisco she worked on improving text summarization tools used by a meeting assistant application.

Yang's research interests are natural language processing, reinforcement learning and deep generative models as well as deep learning in healthcare. In her last project she focused on generative adversarial networks for imbalanced learning.
